Computer Hardware Engineer - Senior

Patuxent River, MD

    

Brown Technologies Incorporated is currently seeking a Senior Computer Hardware Engineer to support a Naval Air Systems (NAVAIR) program. The ideal candidate has a Master's Degree in an Engineering or Technical Discipline and at least 10 years of experience in network design, research, development, and evaluation.


Responsibilities include:

  • Research, analyze, and assist in the implementation of network architecture      solutions
  • Provide expertise and direction on network engineering and architecture      requirements
  • Provide high-level oversight to define requirements, evaluate options and recommend      solutions to meet customer needs
  • Assist in developing a roadmap for the network architecture that will include plans      to enhance functionality, improve security, simplify and improve performance, and reduce cost across various applications
  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, as needed
  • Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software
  • Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems and network operations.
  • Troubleshoot network performance issues
  • Analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions


Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Secret clearance required.
  • Master’s Degree in an Engineering or Technical Discipline
  • At least 10 years' progressive networking experience is required including design, modeling and simulation, and security of diverse scope and scale networks
  • Experience with emerging technologies, both Hardware and Software related

Desired Qualifications: 

  • 10 years of experience in providing network expertise to efforts for NAVAIR and/or other DoD Programs
  • Substitution of related experience for degree requirements will be considered. For      example, a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technical Discipline and at least 16 years of related computer and networking experience may be acceptable. 
  • Certifications:  PMP, ITIL, CNNA, CCNP

Integrated Product Support Logistician

Huntsville, AL

  

Brown Technologies Incorporated is currently seeking an Integrated Product Support (IPS) Logistician supporting the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Office. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of Product Support and Life Cycle Sustainment experience as part of the acquisition process. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Support all aspects of IPS and product support requirements including research, analysis, development, integration, and coordination of logistics data to and from stakeholders.
  • Support the development and review of acquisition-related documentation including, but not limited to, Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), work breakdown structures, Integrated      Master Schedules, and lifecycle cost estimates, as it relates to the acquisition of IPS requirements.
  • Support milestone activities including review of documentation and participation in design reviews.
  • Analyze and assess FLRAA Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) in identifying and      mitigating the risks related to sourcing, procurement, and conversion, as well as the coordination of technical management functions related to cyber security, quality manufacturing, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS).
  • Support the analysis and assessment of logistics information required across product      support integrators and product support providers, as necessary, to optimize the implementation of FLRAA product support strategies.
  • Participate in related Integrated Product Teams to include areas focused on Supply Chain Risk Management.
  • Analyze and assess FLRAA logistics operations in all areas of deployment across the      FLRAA fleet to identify supply support deficiencies and recommend courses of action (COA) for deficiency resolution. 
  • Analyze and assess product support arrangements to support the Government in      validating arrangements as consistent with FLRAA product support strategies.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of current required logistics-related statutory and regulatory required program documentation including, but not limited to, LCSP, Core Logistics Determination Estimate, Core Logistics and      Sustainment Workloads Estimate, Independent Logistics Assessment, Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plan, Preservation and Storage of Unique Tooling Plan, and Replaced System Sustainment Plan.


Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Secret clearance required
  • BS/BA with a minimum of 8 years of related experience or HS and 11 years of related experience
  • 8 years of experience in providing integrated product support efforts for Army and/or      DoD acquisition programs
  • Familiarity with procedures, processes, and management of an acquisition program as it pertains to IPS
  • Familiarity with Acquisition and IPS standards, regulations, policies, procedures, processes, techniques, and organizations
  • Knowledge and experience managing, planning, and executing complex projects
  • Ability to support complex acquisition development and logistics projects

Budget Analyst

Huntsville, AL


Brown Technologies Incorporated is currently seeking a Budget Analyst for the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO). The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience, and will support MRCPO’s team by executing a variety of budget and accounting tasks including: plan and execute customer and direct funding requirements; analyze, assess, and monitor the use of customer and direct financial resources; and perform a wide variety of budgetary processes and techniques. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day-to-day budget status and execution of congressional appropriations in support of the MRCPO
  • Develop get well plans to support OSD budgetary obligation and disbursement goals
  • Work with cost analyst to assist with costing projection for fiscal year budget execution
  • Assist business team in developing budget products and presentation documents in support of the project management office
  • Work with project management functional teams in efforts to develop budget requirements and execute funding in support of fielding capabilities to Army units.


Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Product Support Analyst

Huntsville, Alabama

    

Brown Technologies Incorporated is currently seeking a Product Support Analyst to support the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Office. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of Product Support and Life Cycle Sustainment experience as part of the acquisition process. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Use appropriate predictive analyses and modeling tools to develop course of actions (COAs) for the Government consideration of ways to improve material availability      and reliability, increase operational availability rates, and reduce operation and sustainment costs.
  • Conduct appropriate cost analyses to validate and update product support      strategies, including cost-benefit analyses.
  • Analyze and assess logistics information required to adjust performance requirements and resource allocations across product support integrators and product support providers, as necessary, to optimize implementation of FLRAA      product support strategies.
  • Analyze and assess materiel system requirements and translate requirements into      discrete engineering and logistics support documentation.
  • Apply principles of product support and life-cycle sustainment and use case analysis to DODAF in support of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) modeling.
  • Ensure that the appropriate IPS considerations are integrated into the work of the MBSE team.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain current comprehensive product support strategies      for the FLRAA system.
  • Develop and implement appropriate product support arrangements to facilitate achieving desired product support outcomes.
  • Analyze and assess product support arrangements to support the Government in      validating arrangements as consistent with FLRAA product support strategies.
  • Support Business Case Analyses (BCA) in support of FLRAA product support strategies.
